How memorial jewellery works with Soul Tied Keepsakes

At Soul Tied Keepsakes, we believe that every story deserves to be held close. We specialize in transforming your sentimental elements such as cremated remains, hair, or dried flowers or materials into beautiful, high-quality sterling silver jewellery.

Our process is designed to be transparent, respectful, and deeply personal. Here is how we turn your memories into a lasting treasure.

Step 1: Select & Customize Your Keepsake

Browse our collection to find the piece that speaks to you. Once you’ve selected your design, please ensure you choose your ring size carefully if applicable.

  • Custom Crafting: Each sterling silver ring blank is made to order and sized specifically for you by our jeweller. Because of this bespoke nature, we highly recommend visiting a local jeweller to have your finger sized professionally, or purchasing an inexpensive ring sizer online before placing your order.

Once you’ve checked out, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your unique order number and a link to our detailed mailing instructions.

Step 2: Send Your Materials

Once your order is placed, it’s time to send us the sentimental material you wish to have preserved.

Inclusion Guidelines

To ensure we have exactly what we need to create your piece, please send the following amounts:

Cremated Remains

1/2 to 1 teaspoon (sealed in a secure plastic bag)

Hair

A small lock (approximately 2–3cm long, about the thickness of a pencil)

Dried Flowers

1–2 small petals or a small portion of a larger flower
Material
Approx a 4cm square

  • Safety First: We highly recommend using a tracked courier service to ensure your package arrives at our New Zealand studio securely.

  • Identification: Please ensure your order number is clearly marked on your parcel so we can match your materials to your order immediately upon arrival.

Step 3: Final Delivery

Once your keepsake is complete and has undergone a final quality inspection, it will be packaged in our signature presentation box. We will send you a notification with tracking details as soon as your piece is on its way back to you.

Note: Any unused material will be handled with care and returned to you along with your finished piece.

Important Information

  • Timeline: Handcrafting takes time. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for the creation of your piece from the date we receive your materials.

  • Care: To keep your piece radiant, avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals or abrasive surfaces. We recommend storing it in its original box when not in use.

Ready to begin? If you have questions about which materials we can work with or need help selecting the right setting, please [contact us here]—we would be honoured to guide you through this journey.
